Emmanuel Emenike ended 2013 with his eighth league goal as Fenerbahce spanked Kayserispor 5-1 in a Turkish league game on Sunday. Emenike scored Fenerbahce's fourth goal in the 70th minute.
Fenerbahce are top of the table with 41 points from 17 games, eight points clear of champions and closest rivals Galatasaray.
Turkey Super League will resume on January 25, 2014.
Former Nigeria youth international Nduka Ozokwo scored the opener as Mersin Idmuyurdu defeated Adanaspor 3-0 in the Turkish second division.
He broke the deadlock in the 58th minute.
Mersin Idmuryurdu are fifth on the league table with 33 points from 18 matches.
