NFF set to monitor Argentina & others

Ahead of the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup, member of the Nigeria Football Federation's Technical Committee, Paul Bassey has revealed that they will be  monitoring  Nigeria's group opponents (Iran, Argentina and Bosnia-Herzegovina) so as to determine their strengths and weaknesses and help coach of the Super Eagles, Steven Keshi, prepare well for the mundial.  Nigeria will be making it's fifth appearance at soccer’s biggest fiesta next year in Brazil as African champions, with a bid to surpassing their previous performances of a second round finish in the tournament.

 “The technical department of the NFF should brief Keshi about other teams that we have been paired against, teams like Bosnia and Iran together with fact sheets about their players, where they play their football, what they can and cannot do.”

 “The CHAN should not be a distraction but the sooner they are done with CHAN the better so they can start preparing for the World Cup every weekend, the technical department should be able to monitor these players in their leagues and come up with little details that might make the difference at the World Cup finals
