Now the table-toppers' credentials are once again under scrutiny when they head to the Blue side of town to face Manchester City. But Wenger has vowed his Gunners side will shake off the shackles in their bid to prove their doubters wrong.
He said: "The only blip we had was at Manchester United.
"People forget that United had two shots on target on the day and they scored a goal off a shoulder from a corner.
"But on the day I believe we were not completely ourselves offensively - and that's what we want to do better.
