WENGER : Gunners must attack at Etihad

Arsenal's title bid was questioned after they went into their shell in their meek 1-0 loss against Manchester United last month. In the last 8 days they have faced a tough test and results scores them just 1/6. Everton held them to a draw, Napoli beat them 2-0 and pushed them to 2nd place in the Champions League which poses a serious knockout opposition. Playing Man City today might be a more bigger test. The gunners will play Chelsea next week and if you are a good follower you will still remember that Wenger has never beaten Mourinho before. This line of 4 matches will definately show the World if Arsenal are the real title contenders.Read more after the cut....

Now the table-toppers' credentials are once again under scrutiny when they head to the Blue side of town to face Manchester City. But Wenger has vowed his Gunners side will shake off the shackles in their bid to prove their doubters wrong.
He said: "The only blip we had was at Manchester United.
"People forget that United had two shots on target on the day and they scored a goal off a shoulder from a corner.
"But on the day I believe we were not completely ourselves offensively - and that's what we want to do better.
Learn "In the first half it was like, 'Where are they?' I said that after the game. But that's what we can learn from the Manchester United game.
"A team is not set there. After they do it, they grow. Sometimes if they do it they stop, learn from it and then grow again.
"It's what we want to show at City. We learn from it and we go again."
ARSENAL hold a five-point lead at the top and are six ahead of fourth-placed City thanks to the goals of Olivier Giroud and midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Manuel Pellegrini's men have the only remaining 100 per cent home record in the league and have already netted 29 goals at the Etihad.
