Oliseh however urged the media to report positive information about the team, stating that he believes the Super Eagles will do well at the World Cup.

"The job will be made easier if they are aware that majority of Nigerians are behind them and are urging them on."

'We must stay positive in a bid to help our team surpass the past achievements," Oliseh said.

The Super Eagles are placed in Group F alongs with long standing nemesis, Argentina, Bosnia, and Iran. The team will begin their campaign against Iran before taking on Bosnia while Argentina will be their last opponents of the group stage.
