Former Super Eagles Midfielder Sani Kaita Joins Enyimba On Loan

 
Midfielder Sani Kaita has teamed up with Enyimba on a three month loan deal.The former Sparta Rotterdam player is most famous for his red card following a challenge on Vasilis Torosidis in Nigeria’s 2-1 defeat to Greece at the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

"It is a good thing for our league that a player like Kaita, who has played at every international level for Nigeria, is joining Enyimba,” sources revealed to Kickoffnigeria.com.

"He brings a wealth of experience from Europe and from his time playing for the Super Eagles that will benefit the club and the younger players in our club," the source said.”


The former Kano Pillars player had to return home following a failed expedition in the Cyprus league where he was on loan to Olympiakos following spells in Monaco, Rubin Kazan, Lokomotiv Moscow, Metalist Kharkiv, Iraklis and Tavriya Simferopol.

The 27-year old player was part of the Super Eagles team that won a silver medal at the 2006 and 2010 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt and Angola respectively.
