KOMPANY: We Won't Give Up On Premier League Title

Vincent Kompany says Manchester City's last-gasp title win in 2012 is giving the squad hope heading into their final four games of the season. Monday night's 3-1 win over West Brom saw City close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool to six points with a game in hand.

"It's job done and we had some good spells in the game. We'll take it with us in the final four games," he told Sky Sports.

"We can still remember what happened for us two years ago. We take motivation out of it but the most important thing is that we get back to the form we had at the beginning of the season.

"It looked like we were better against West Brom and if we take that into the next four games anything can happen."

It was not all positives at the Eithad Stadium as Sergio Aguero and David Silva were forced off through injury.

Manuel Pellegrini expects the striker to shake off any knock, but admitted the Spain international will undergo a scan on Tuesday to determine the damage - and Kompany is hoping for a quick recovery.

He added: "We knew David [Silva] was struggling. He's been great for us and he put in a shift. Hopefully he'll be back soon."
