NBA: Jahlil Okafor Unhappy Over Father's Criticism Of Sixers

Jahlil Okafor seems not to be happy with his dad after his father gave a sixers fan a condition for taking a picture with him.

Philadelphia big man Jahlil Okafor also had to deal with dad stuff. Michael Weber, a screenwriter and Sixers fan, attended the game against the Clippers at the Staples Center and tweeted that Okafor's dad, Chuck, heckled coach Brett Brown until his son told him to stop. Weber then posed for a selfie with Chuck, who had him cover the face of general manager Sam Hinkie on his T-shirt.

Okafor did not sound pleased about his father's actions being a topic of discussion.

"I don't know why you guys worry about my dad," he said, via the Associated Press. "He's not in the NBA. He's not on the team. You can do better than finding something than my dad to write about."

His dad may not be in the NBA, but unfortunately for Okafor, when stuff like this becomes public, it's news. This is especially true when the team is at the very bottom of the standings.

Good news for Philly: The Sixers beat the Wolves on Monday 109-99. They're 3-3 since signing Ish Smith the day before Christmas.
