STRANGE: Fifa seeds Ballon d' Or to favor Ronaldo

Something strange is happening at football’s world governing body!  It was announced on Tuesday evening, just as Cristiano Ronaldo had claimed a hat-trick for Portugal in Sweden, that the voting for the Ballon d’Or had been delayed until November 29, by FIFA. The first with this news were Catalan daily El Mundo Deportivo, who reported that those national team managers and captains that have not voted, plus media, can now vote if they haven’t already.
If you have voted, say like Thiago Silva and Vicente del Bosque, you can now vote again and change your original choices. A circular was sent by FIFA and France Football on Tuesday evening extending the deadline, which had already passed. Speculation is now rife that voting for the 2013 Ballon d’Or was at an all-time low. And, of course, that initial voting was not going the way of Cristiano Ronaldo. After Sepp Blatter’s infamous comments about Cristiano Ronaldo at the Oxford Union and the Real Madrid forward’s stunning recent form, presumably FIFA couldn’t demean the award even further by having Lionel Messi or Franck Ribery win it! Seems like the whole World is thinking Ronaldo.
