Bale's Goals Decisive For Real Madrid In Copa Del Rey & Champions League Victories

Gareth Bale has already paid off his signing fee with two goals in two cup finals. His goal at the Mestalla won a cup final while his header at the Estadio Da Luz essentially clinched the Champions League. It would be fair to say that the Welshman has made a big impact since he arrived in Madrid.

A great move from Di María down the left wing drew a save from Courtois and Bale beat Toby Alderweireld to the draw to head the rebound home.

It was the 110th minute and the 'Décima' was finally in Real Madrid's grasp. Upon scoring, the Welshman exploded with glee, since he hadn't had much luck in front of goal earlier on in the evening.

He had a good chance in the first half, and two in the second, but failed to finish them off. The player was ecstatic when he finally managed to get that elusive goal he'd been looking for in extra time.
