TROUBLE MAKER: Adrian Mutu banned for life from Romania side for comparing coach to Mr Bean

After all his indiscretions – cocaine binges, committing GBH on waiters – Adrian Mutu has been banned for life from the Romania side for posting a picture to Facebook of coach Victor Piturca, photoshopped with Mr Bean’s face. Mutu claims it was just a joke to lighten the mood after Romania had been beaten to World Cup qualification by Greece, but neither the Romanian FA, nor Piturca, saw it that way.
According to reports in the Metro, Mutu has been informed via a letter that he would not be considered for national selection ever again. Adrian Mutu scored 35 goals in 77 caps for Romania. Always in crime.........
