Alex Ferguson wins £50k on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

The current Man United director appeared on the hit TV quiz for a special Christmas special in which contestants won money for their favourite charities.

Sir Alex was joined by fellow Manchester United fan Eamonn Holmes on the show, and together the duo won £50,000 for their nominated charity the Manchester United Foundation.

During the show, host Chris Tarrant asked Fergie if he would ever consider going into the jungle and take part in another ITV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Sir Alex quipped: “I’ve just come out of the jungle!”
