BAD BOY: Ramos extends Red card record

Sergio Ramos really doesn’t want anyone touching his red card record. With 17 reds to his name in his Real Madrid career, it’s safe to say it’s his for his lifetime, but he doesn’t seem content with that. Read more after the cut.....

Standing in as captain at Osasuna tonight, Ramos managed to get himself sent off in the first half with two needless yellow cards. The second was a little harsh, but as is his wont, he invited needless trouble upon himself.

Clearly mortified at yet another tarjeta roja, Ramos sarcastically applauded the ref as he left the pitch with his head hung low.
At just 27, it’s a truly astonishing record to make Vinnie Jones blanche.
He’ll surely make 20 at this rate…
match result, Osasuna 2 Madrid 2
