Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa scored his first goal of the season in the UEFA Champions League in CSKA Moscow's 2-1 defeat away to Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday night. Read more after the cut......
Musa headed the Russian champions into the lead in the 65th minute off a cross from Japanese star midfielder Keisuke Honda before Daniel Kolar restored parity in the 11 minutes later. Plezen scored a late winner to deny CSKA a place in the Europa League.
It was Musa's first goal in 20 games in all competitions; he last scored a goal for the Leonid Slutsky side against Amkar Perm in their 2-1 win in August. The former VVV Venlo star has grabbed five goals in the league.
