In the hours after the Champions League draw, there was a buzz surrounding an account on Twitter. Apparently, an account titled “CL Draw Manipulation” had Tweeted Monday’s Champions League draw on Sunday.
Wow!
We all knew UEFA was corrupt as anything. So great that an unknown Twitter account has come out and shown us how Europe’s governing body for football only care about TV and money!
Actually, no…
With group winners facing those that finished in second place, it really wasn’t that hard to fix up a Twitter timeline.
Simply Tweet all the possible permutations, then delete the incorrect ties once the draw comes in. Easy as anything.
Incredibly, CL Draw Manipulation has already gained over 11,000 followers including former Southampton and England striker Matt Le Tissier.
UEFA has a lot to answer for. They may well have rigged the Champions League draw. But this is NOT proof.
