Luis Suarez bagged his 15th Premier League goal of the season yesterday – and Liverpool weren’t even playing! Read more after the cut.......
The mysterious dubious goals panel opted to award Suarez the fourth goal in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday. It had originally been ruled an own-goal when it canonned off Joey O’Brien.
It has left Suarez on 15 for the season in just 10 games, three ahead of his nearest rival Sergio Aguero.
The goals panel also confirmed that Liverpool’s second goal was scored by Mamadou Sakho – not Martin Skrtel.
Skrtel poked in from close range but Sakho’s effort – his first for the club – has already crossed the line
