Arsenal have expressed an interest in Monaco striker Radamel Falcao and are expected to battle Manchester City for the striker on deadline day with a fee in the region of £55 million being mooted.

Arsenal striker Joel Campbell has pleaded with Arsene Wenger to allow him to move to Benfica. The Costa Rica international's chances look limited in north London and he is keen to move on loan and get guaranteed football.
