Pedro has agrred personal terms with Manchester United, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.
But it’s not as finalized as it may sound: Balague claims that despite the agreement of personal terms between United and the player, United have yet to make a formal bid to Barcelona.
With Di Maria now confirmed as a PSG player, it appears United are stepping up their bid to bring in their ideal replacement, with Pedro having been sized up all summer.
It seems they’ve now got the agreement of the player, and all that remains is contract and fee negotiation with Barcelona, who will have little choice but to accept Pedro’s desire to leave at this point.
The Catalan club have been doing all they can to dissuade Pedro from leaving, but now 28-years-old and with a weight of experience and medals won, it’s clear the player wants regular first team football, something he’s realistically not going to get at Barcelona in the near future.
