NFF President Amaju Pinnick has expressed confidence that the Senior Men National Team, Super Eagles, will qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

The qualification series for the 2017 Cup of Nations (to be hosted by Gabon) will be concluded in September 2016, but the Eagles have what is seen as a group-decider, double-dose against the Pharaohs of Egypt in March, while the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, to be staged in Russia, begin in October 2016.

NFF Crisis: Solomon Dalung Calls For Peaceful Talks Between Pinnick & Giwa

The Youths and Sports minister of Nigeria Solomon Dalung has called on the two warring fractions of the NFF to allow peace reign.

Fourteen months ago when the issue of the genuine NFF President erupted the Chris Giwa led group was forced out by the then government with a promise of reviewing the whole matter.

With the promise of the government being inactive the Giwa led group has threatened to sack the Pinnick led NFF through the back door.

NFF Will Never Owe Salaries Again After This Month - Demola Olajire

NFF media director appeared on TV on Friday night with the Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye. Confidence and praises of his boss was the highlight of the interview and claims that the NFF has improved under Pinnick.

Toyin Ibitoye had Demola Olajire on the hot seat to answer questions about the NFF. When asked about non payment of salaries the media officer accepted that several coaches have been owned since September but said that the body doesn't allow coaches to discuss such issues in public.

Demola spoke about a coming aid for coaches which will ensure that the body will never owe salaries again. That might sound strange though considering the fact that the body has been known for such acts for over 2 decades.

FIFA Presidency: Prince Ali Stops In Lagos To Win Nigeria's Vote

Contestant for the sit of FIFA President Prince Ali stopped over at the Lagos Airport to have a one on one talk with the president of the NFF. Ali is certainly one of the top shots for the hot FIFA sit. Pinnick should feel a level of shame for denying Segun Odegbami a chance to contest the FIFA presidential election after the NFF used delay tactics to sideline the former footballer.

One of the candidates for next year’s FIFA presidential election, Prince Ali Ibn Hussein, on Thursday made a stop –over in Lagos to see the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.

Both men spent some time together at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport before Prince Ali, a Jordanian and an influential figure in world football since challenging the now –suspended Sepp Blatter for the FIFA presidency in May this year, flew to Paris.

Amaju Pinnick Is 100% Certain Of Enyeama's Return To Eagles

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has insisted that he is 100% certain Vincent Enyeama will return to the national team.

The Lille goalkeeper quit the Super Eagles, after a bust-up with coach Sunday Oliseh, which also saw him being stripped of the captain’s arm band.

“I had a good conversation with him yesterday and I am 100% convinced he will come back to the Super Eagles,” Pinnick said.

NFF Plans Testimonial Match For Vincent Enyeama

The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said a testimonial will be organised for Vincent Enyeama, saying he deserves “an honourable exit” from the Super Eagles.

On Saturday, Enyeama returned to Belgium to meet with NFf president Amaju Pinnick, NFF 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi and 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko.

Pinnick told Enyeama in clear terms that the country is bigger than any individual, and that even if he was determined to quit international football, he did not have to do so in a situation of acrimony.

President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has boasted that his administration has successfully met its set objectives within a year of its tenure and believes that there is room for improvement in the coming years.

He confessed that it has been tasking and challenging in the past 12 months of his tenure owing to crisis that engulfed the football house and took about nine months  before it was finally resolved.

Aspiring FIFA presidential candidate Segun Odegbami has been cut short of his expectation for the top position in football. Odegbami who lamented the conditions set aside for people running for the position by the NFF wasdisappointed that the body is trying to stop him rather than supporting him. He will need the NFF to endorse him and the way it looks now simply shows that Mr Pinnick will not give Segun Odegbami the chance to be his boss. Amaju Pinnick Canvasses Support For Oliseh After Poor Outing

NFF President Amaju Pinnick refused to be despondent following Saturday’s 0-0 draw between the Super Eagles and Taifa Stars of Tanzania. Rather, he saw a lot of positives in the result and has called on Nigerians from far and near to exercise patience as new Head Coach Sunday Oliseh gradually steadies his ship.

Nigeria were expected to take three points away from Dar es Salaam on Saturday, but came away with a point as the race to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon gathered steam. Even with the draw, Pinnick remains confident the Eagles will get there.

In the race for the next FIFA president some incredible Nigerians have shown interest. I think this Nigerians have much believe in themselves despite the fact that most of us know that if they eventually contest some of this candidates will not get up to 2 votes.

Another Country Would Have Employed Sunday Oliseh Says Pinnick - Ganiyu Salman

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr Amaju Pinnick has defended the choice of Sunday Oliseh as the head coach of the Super Eagles.

Speaking against the backdrop of the criticisms which greeted the appointment of the former Nigeria captain, who was accused of lacking experience, Pinnick pointed out that Oliseh is employable given his rich credentials as a player before he ventured into coaching, coupled with his post-playing career work with FIFA Technical Study Group.

“We have no regrets appointing Sunday Oliseh. Other African countries were gunning for him, but he opted for his country. Oliseh’s stock in international football is high because apart from his work with FIFA, he has a company that trains and grades coaches all over the world.

Keshi Sue NFF For N1.2billion Compensation

Keshi is really unplesaed with the way the NFF dislodged him from the job for a special Pinnick annoited candidate who Keshi feels his far low to him in experience.

Former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has asked for a $5m (1.2billion Naira) compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation over his sack earlier this month.

The 53-year-old was sacked by the NFF who claimed he put in an application to coach Ivory Coast contrary to the spirit of his contract.

NFF To Sign MOU With English FA

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that a formal document formalizing their relationship with the Football Association in order for the country to benefit from the English football expertise.

Pinnick who held a meeting with his counterpart from England, Greg Dyke at the Wembley Stadium on Tuesday said the FA is keen to work with the NFF and will do all it takes to uplift Nigeria football.

NFF Waring Parties Must Face Arbitration Panel - FIFA

Fifa has recommended that an arbitration panel should be set up by the Nigeria Football Federation to resolve the disputes arising from the September 30 elections in Warri. In a letter signed by Fifa's Director of Legal Affairs Marco Villiger and Head of Corporate Legal Oliver Jaberg respectively and made available to Goal, it acknowledged the receipt of letter from Ike Igbogwe over the NFF's rejection of its request for an arbitration panel.

Fifa said it has no authority to resolve the crisis insisting it was an internal affairs and resolved to accept in entity the verdict of a 'competent body' set-up to rule over the appeals' verdict against seeking redress at a regular court.

NIGERIA: Court Of Arbitation For Sports Summons Pinnick & Giwa Over NFF Clash

The awaited verdict of CAS is expected to provide a lasting solution to the protracted six months long crisis which have engulfed the nation's football since its exit from the Brazil 2014 World Cup. A football proprietor, Chris Giwa, has cried out over the removal of former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, by the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday.

The Amaju Pinnick board of the NFF after a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday removed all the technical crew members of the national team and named Amodu Shaibu as the head of a consortium of coaches to oversee the affairs of the team for the two remaining matches in the Africa nations Cup qualifiers.

Delta State Sports Association head Amaju Pinnick has emerged the president of the Nigeria Football Federation after an election held in Warri on Tuesday afternoon. His emergence is expected to bring an end to the rigmarole in the country’s football sector that has earned the ire of Fifa over the last four months.

Pinnick led the field with 32 votes, far ahead of the other candidates as Dominic Iorfa polled eight (8) votes and Taiwo Ogunjobi got four (4) votes.
