Arsene Wenger Set To Quit Arsenal In 2017

This my be good news for some Arsenal faithfuls who want Wenger out of the club. After several trends of #wengerout reports claim that the French man has decided to quit in 2017. Wenger quiting Arsenal in 2017? Only time can tell.

The Mirror on Friday make a bold announcement on the back page of their paper: Arsene Wenger is quitting Arsenal by 2017.

According to John Cross, Wenger, after 19-years at the Gunners, is now set to leave the club in the next 19 months.

Wenger is thought to have laid out his career plans at Arsenal’s AGM on Thursday, say the red-top, however what’s important to note is that at no point did Wenger actually say he’s quitting the club.

Instead, the Mirror have reached their conclusion by reading between the lines on the following remarks Wenger made during the AGM:

I am resolute to commit absolutely until the last day of my contract to bring back big success to this club, and leave as well one day in a position where it can do even better when I leave.

That is for me very important that I leave the club in the shape that the guy who comes after me can do better.

Wenger’s current deal with the Gunners expires in 2017.

On the pitch, Arsenal return to action on Saturday when they travel to Watford in the Premier League.

The Gunners are second in the table, two points behind Man City, who face Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.
