Crisis! Chelsea Players Planning Mutiny Against Jose Mourinho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly lost the dressing room at Stamford Bridge as claims emerge that the Chelsea players have turned their back on their under fire manager

The Evening Standard claims that the Portuguese coach faces a mutiny from his players, after the 52-year-old criticised his team and backroom staff before the international break.

The Daily Mail also reports that several Chelsea players are using an unflattering nickname to refer to their boss, as chaos seems to have ensued upon the West London side.

Despite these recent reports the Blues boss has today denied accusations of dressing room unrest at the club.

“It’s sad but I don’t care really,” he told Talksport. “I don’t care. I spoke with the players about it and the players are also sad about it, but there is no way to care.

“We know what we are, we know the relationships between ourselves. We know that we are together trying to go back to normality but it is quite sad because people could analyse the situation in pure football terms.

“Let’s try to find the reason why this team is playing badly and why it is not winning matches, without agendas and without unfair comment, because that’s not nice.”

The shocking decline in Chelsea’s performances have led to the Premier League champions languishing near the relegation in 16th place in the table, following two wins from their opening eight games.

Despite publically backing their manager, there are increasing reports the the Chelsea hierarchy are considering Jose Mourinho’s position as manager.

If it is indeed true that the self proclaimed ‘Special One’ has lost the dressing room, then it may just be a matter of time before the former Real Madrid, and Porto boss unthinkably leaves the club, who he guided to Premier League glory only five months ago.

Next up for Chelsea is a home game against struggling Aston Villa on Saturday. Failure to gain a victory this weekend, could really be the writing on the wall for Jose Mourinho.
