Marca Names Zizuo's First Madrid Win As "Hand Of Zidane"

Popular and respected Spanish football website Marca.com has come out in support of Zidane as the much viewed outfit as labelled his first debut as "hand of Zidane"

Hand of Zidane is easy to interpret, what they mean is simple.... the superb tactics of Zidane is now a delight at Madrid but how long will that last? for eternity or a short space of time?

Zinedine Zidane enjoyed a successful debut as Real Madrid manager with a 5-0 victory over Deportivo on Saturday night at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid.Gareth Bale scored a hat trick which was book-ended by Karim Benzema goals in what was a straightforward win for Los Blancos.Zidane gave little-used Isco a start in his first match in charge, as the former Málaga man joined Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the midfield.

Up top it was the normal attacking trio of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, while in defense Dani Caravjal got the nod and joined Pepe, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo in front of goalkeeper Keylor Navas.Depor, as has been the case all season, were a tough foe at the start, and their star goal-scorer Lucas Pérez almost opened the scoring in the 11th minute after a nice through ball from Mosquera, but Navas was there to make the save.

However, Real would soon take control with the opening goal in the 15th minute, when a corner kick fell to Ramos, who attempted a volley through a forest of legs in the area. The ball reached Benzema who deftly backheeled it and it found the back of Lux's net to hand Los Blancos a 1-0 win.Eight minutes later Carvajal, in for Danilo, made a dashing run down the right before swing a cross that connected with the forehead of Bale, who smacked it past Lux to increase the lead to 2-0.In the 39th minute Ronaldo quite nearly made it a perfect first half for Real, but his header off a chip from Bale stung the post. Still, it was a reflection of a much better looking Real than what had largely been seen in the first half of the season under Rafa Benítez. One small setback for Real came as the second half started, as Ramos left the match with an injury and was replaced by Raphael Varane.

But on the field Real remained a fine-tuned machine and Bale made it 3-0 in the 49th minute when Ronaldo found the Welshman with a cross from the right and the former Spurs man finished with aplomb.Real's two best performers on the day, Kroos and Bale, hooked up for Real's fourth in the 63rd minute.

The German swung in a corner kick that Bale rose to meet and smash in past Lux to make it a 4-0 game. All that was lacking to make it a perfect night for Real was a Ronaldo goal. The Portuguese came close in the 80th minute, but his shot went searing just wide. Deportivo had a great chance to get a consolation goal at the end, but Lucas Pérez inexplicably failed to pull the trigger with Navas out of position in the 88th minute.

In the end, there would be no goal for Ronaldo, but Benzema would get his second when he fired in a loose ball in the Depor area after a blocked Ronaldo shot to round out the day's scoring.Real return to action next Sunday at home against Sporting.
