Nigerian U-23 Striker Isaac Success Nets Against Sevilla

Olympic bound Isaac Success Put Granada ahead in the 17th minute against Sevilla has the Nigerian U-23 proved his goal credentials.

Nigeria youth international, Success got Granada’s curtain raiser as they stunned red-hot Sevilla 2-1 at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes to climb out of the Spanish topflight relegation zone.

The former Flying Eagles forward was a threat to the visitors’ backline as he tormented with his sleek moves. He pounced after 17 minutes from a rebound off Sergio Rico’s save from Ruben Rochina’s effort.


Adalberto Penaranda doubled the lead 20 minutes later with a low shot. Though, Vitolo got one for Sevilla into the break, that could not stop El Graná from securing their fourth win of the season plus a winning start to 2016 after back-to-back defeats.

After 89 minutes of positive impact on the turf, he was replaced by Youssef El Arabi after getting booked by referee Alberto Undiano. His compatriot Uche Agbo came on for Rene Krhin in the 72nd minute.
