CSKA Moscow Tells Leicester City To Pay £19 Million For Ahmed Musa

Premier League leader Leicester City are in a big money move for Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa who plays for CSKA Moscow. The big question is if the recent goal shy Musa can help Leicester push for the EPL Trophy and is the Nigerian worth up to £19 million?

Leicester are continuing to pursue a deal for CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa amid concerns Sampdoria centre-forward Eder wishes to stay in Italy.

Claudio Ranieri is determined to add a striker to his squad this window and is keeping his options open on a number of targets.

Sampdoria accepted a £10million bid for Italy international Eder and talks are ongoing with the player’s agent, but Inter are also expecting negotiations to take place on Thursday.

It is thought Eder, 29, may prefer to stay in Serie A to secure his place at Euro 2016 though, and Leicester are considering another approach for Musa.

Musa, 23, has scored 10 goals in 29 games this season in Russia and 11 times in 56 appearances for Nigeria.

CSKA have rejected a £15.1m offer from Leicester, holding out for a fee closer to their £18.9m valuation.
