UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST 16 DRAW: See all the pairings

The draw has been made for the Champions League last-16 ties, and there are some doozies. Manchester City were first out the hat to be drawn against Spanish giants Barcelona. Next came Manchester United against Greeks Olympiakos. Didier Drogba was handed a final Champions League return to Stamford Bridge when Galatasaray pulled Chelsea. And Arsenal pulled the short straw for failing to top their group by getting reigning champs Bayern. Read more after the cut.......

Man City versus Barcelona is as tasty as it gets, and for some reason it feels like Manuel Pellegrini will be happy to take his team to the Nou Camp. City have performed well in the Champions League, and who would bet against them dumping Messi & co out of this season’s competition.

The Champions League seems to be David Moyes’ lucky competition. After four wins and two draws in the group, Olympiakos was the team everyone wanted to face. United should progress.

Didier Drogba’s reunion with Jose Mourinho and Chelsea’s fans will be special, while Roberto Mancini’s return to England is also of interest. Chelsea, on paper, should have too much for the Turks, however Basel have proven that the Blues are well beatable.

Arsenal have little going for them as they got Bayern. Pep Guardiola’s are favourite to dump the Gunners out, just as they did in last season’s competition which they went on to win.
