OLSSON : Joseph Yobo Is The Best, Ex Everton Man Voted As Man Of The Match

Super Eagles defender, Joseph Yobo was voted man-of-the-match by Eurosport in Saturday's goalless affair at Carrow Road between homers,Norwich City and visiting Manchester City. It was the first goalless draw between these sides since 1998.

Prior to the match,Manchester City had won their last three Premier League trips to Carrow Road, scoring 13 and conceding six times. Yobo, who switched from Turkish side,Fenerbahce to Norwich on transfer deadline day however ensured the story was different on Saturday in his debut for the relegation threatened team.

Eurosport rated the Nigerian 9/10 and had this to say about his performance:A great debut by the former Everton man. Didn't put a foot wrong all game and kept Alvaro Negredo quiet and Stevan Jovetic even quieter.

The Daily Mail also named Yobo one of the top performers of the match, rating the Nigerian 7/10.He was bettered only by  Leroy Fer  who was rated 8/10.

Meanwhile Martin Olsson says Yobo's rock-solid performance against Manchester City didn't surprise him.The defender instead said he was with how the Nigerian handled the pace on his return to the Premier League.

"I don't think it was such a big difference for him," Olsson added. "He's got experience as well.

He played at a big club in Turkey so it wasn't a huge difference for him I think and he's been doing well in training so I think he fitted in well,''he said.
