WORLD CUP: Ahmed Musa Is From Another Planet Says Keshi

Super Eagles stars have hailed two-goal hero against Argentina, Ahmed Musa with goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama saying the CSKA Moscow forward should have been awarded the Man-of-the-Match gong insteag of Lionel Messi.

“Messi?” the Nigeria goalkeeper boomed, laughing, “They should have given man of the match to Musa.” His enthusiasm was understandable. Nigeria had been beaten 3-2 by Argentina but Ahmed Musa had scored two fine goals and they had qualified for the next round.

Stoke City forward,Odemwingie also hailed Musa and hopes the winger takes his form to the next game against France.

“Musa looked confident, light. We know his asset is his speed so we try to find him where we can just push the ball for him to run. He did that against Argentina and had two cool finishes. I hope he takes that confidence into the next game.”

For head coach,Stephen Keshi,Messi is not the only player from another planet. He praised Musa for his individual performance.

“It’s a team effort but you need to let Musa know he was awesome,” Keshi told BBC Sport.

” I said Messi is from Jupiter, but Musa is from another planet with pace like that,” said Keshi who also made his own history at this tournament by becoming the first Nigerian to take the Super Eagles past the group stage.
