WOW! Messi Voted For Jose Mourinho As The Coach Of The Year

Messi's vote for 2014 Coach of the Year went to his fellow countryman and former Argentina boss, Alejandro Sabella. His second vote went to Pep Guardiola and his third to José Mourinho. It came as a surprise that the Argentine star did not vote for any of the three finalists: Joachim Löw, Carlo Ancelotti or Diego Pablo Simeone.

Cristiano on the other hand did. He was spot on and voted for all three, just not in the right order. The Portugal captain voted for Ancelotti, Simeone and then Löw.

Spain captain, Iker Casillas' vote went to his manager at Real Madrid, whilst voting for Löw and Pellegrini in second and third place.

We should also highlight Neymar's sportsmanship. The Brazil captain had no qualms about voting for Löw as 2014 Coach of the Year ahead of Pep Guardiola and Louis van Gaal.

The eventual winner, Joachim Löw voted for Ancelotti as Coach of the Year, with Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klinsmann completing his top three.

Vicente del Bosque also voted for Ancelotti as the best coach of 2014, with Löw and Simeone as his second and third choices respectively.
