CHAN: Missing Gbolahan Salami To Sign For Foreign Club Next Year

Warri Wolves striker and Home Eagles captain Gbolahan Salami has caused speculations recently when the striker refused to return back to camp in Abuja. The highest goal scorer has opted out and his set to pen an overseas deal.

Nigeria league hotshot Gbolahan Salami has said he hopes to tie up a move overseas next week and so opted out of the CHAN Eagles training camp in Abuja.

A source informed: “Salami is still very much in Nigeria but he believes that by next week he would most likely seal a transfer abroad.”

The Warri Wolves striker, who scored 17 goals this past season, has stayed away from the CHAN training squad, who are set to jet out of the country on Saturday.

Some years ago, Salami posted a failed move to South African club Mamelodi Sundowns and early this year, a move to Serbia collapsed after Red Star Belgrade could not pay the Nigeria striker.
