On Sunday, David Moyes’s Man United side were beaten 3-1 by title challengers Chelsea.
Moyes is now being linked to a number of players, with the squad quite obviously needing strengthening.
Chelsea star Juan Mata has gone from two times Chelsea player of the Season to a peripheral figure under new manager Jose Mourinho.
The Spaniard needs more playing time ahead of the summer World Cup in Brazil and would surely be open to any move away from Stamford Bridge.
According to tomorrow’s Telegraph, United are closing on the £37m signing of Mata.
The Telegraph are usually a reliable paper. Interesting to see how this develops.
