Arsenal published a statement on their website on Thursday announcing the departure of 11 players from the Emirates this summer. This announcement might make us think that Wenger will make several signings this season, good for Arsenal faithfuls....
The most high profile name on the list was Danish international striker Nicklas Bendtner, who sees his contract at the Gunners expire this summer.
All eleven players will leave the club on June 30th when their deals come to a close. See the list after the cut.
Aside from Bendtner, South Korean flop Chu-Young Park, part-time loanee Kim Kallstrom and keeper Emiliano Viviano are all being let go.
Elsewhere, Bacary Sagna, Lukasz Fabianski and Zak Ansah have completed permanent moves to Manchester City, Swansea City and Charlton Athletic respectively, while youth players Chuks Aneke, Daniel Boateng, Zach Fagan and Leander Siemann have all be told to leave the club.
As for incomings, Arsenal have yet to make a summer signing in 2014.
