Argentina's Marcos Rojo says that having a first-hand view of Lionel Messi's magic is "a fantastic experience".
The versatile defender has been one of his country's more reliable performers at the World Cup thus far and netted the winner in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat of Nigeria, a result which saw the Albiceleste progress to the last 16 as winners of Group F.
However, Rojo has been left in awe by the performances of his captain, who has scored four goals in three games, including a double against the Super Eagles.
"Just being able to watch him from defence is such a fantastic experience," the 24-year-old wing-back is told Fifa's official website.
Argentina will now face Switzerland in the last 16, having finished top of their group, and Rojo could not be more excited about the pressure that comes with playing knockout football.
"Now a whole new competition begins," he argued. "There's no longer any margin for error. We either win or go home.
"As far as I'm concerned, it’s the best part of the tournament."
