Everyone that knows Oma Akatugba knows him as a sport presenter and over the years he has risen to become one of the young brands to be reckoned with in the sport media in Nigeria. Oma's recent criticism of politicians in Nigeria today has become another aspect of the popular controversial presenter.

Oma is already gaining grounds with lots of followers applauding and sharing from his views. Sport presenter fast becoming a critic, yes, Japeth Omojuwa was an unpopular sport blogger who has become popular by criticizing the wrongs of politicians in the country. Is Oma probably going in such a direction too or his he going to simply contest for a sit in 2019, maybe to correct the political wrongs just like George Weah of Liberia? To think criticizing isn't enough Oma has also turned to a defender, right back, left back or central defender, that i can't say but his defense of one 16years old Moses Akatugba who has been jailed for several years and sentenced to death without trial is touching and its one in which we must appreciate Oma for. Oma has been calling out to the Governor of Delta State to set the boy free and arrest the real thieves which he described as the politicians. We don't knowif Moses Akatugba is related to Oma Akatugba but one thing is certain the boy deserves to live. Oma we appreciate your shouts for the young boy.
