NIGERIA: Flying Eaglets Bus Crashes In Ghana

The Marcopolo bus conveying the Flying Eagles from the Tema Sports Stadium to their hotel, was involved in a minor accident on Wednesday. We can confirm to you that the accident has not changed anything in the camp of the Eaglets as everything remains calm as the young Nigerians are looking ahead for victory

The Flying Eagles were on their way to their hotel after defeating the Black Satelites of Ghana 2-0 in an international friendly when the bus crashed into the main gate of the stadium.


Although no serious casualty was recorded, one player, Usman Hassan Saleh was hit by some of the broken glass and was attended to by the team doctor.

The team eventually left for their hotel and are expected back in the country on Thursday.
