Olympiacos forward Brown Ideye has revealed that his Greek side have been getting support from England ahead of their crucial Champions League clash against Arsenal.
Olympiacos just need a draw or a 2-1 defeat to progress into the first knockout phase. Nigerian star Ideye said Olympiacos will not sit back against Arsenal.
“They're here to attack and score goals,” he told the Standard. "We can't wait for them, we must attack first. We respect them – they are a great side.”
“I've had phone calls from friends in England who really want us to win. Everybody is behind us.
“I took my family to a shop and people wouldn’t leave us alone, urging us to win.”
