West Ham: Bilic Unhappy At Moses Injury Woes

Super Eagles and West ham player Victor Moses has returned back to the sidelines after picking up another injury. Victor is gradually showing signs of being injury prone and he has spent more time on the sidelines than on the pitch of play this season.

West Ham United manager, Slaven Bilic has expressed sadness over the injury picked up by Nigerian winger, Victor Moses on Saturday.

The winger was forced off in the 37th minute of West Ham United’s Barclays English Premier League contest against Manchester United at Old Trafford following a challenge from United’s German midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger.


It was a sad end to Moses’ participation in the game and one in which he had been heavily involved.

He was extremely lively down the right channel and was only denied a goal by the excellent David De Gea who stopped his low effort in the 11th minute.

After the game, Bilic took the time to address Moses’ present situation, confirming that the Super Eagles man has suffered a hamstring injury.

“It's still too early, but it doesn't look good again. It's a hamstring - he felt it and we had to take him off.

“It's a big blow for us, but we have to stay positive as some of the players maybe have a chance of being back for the Stoke game. If not Stoke, then Swansea,” the Croatian coach said.

Saturday’s sad events worryingly represents Moses’ fourth major injury setback in 2015.

The 26-year-old suffered a hip/thigh injury that ruled him out of action between March 14 to April 1.

He did not play competitively between April 11 and May 31 after suffering a hamstring injury.

The injury demons resurfaced from August 17 to September 9 when he suffered a knock that badly knocked the wind off his sails.
