Bayern Munich Will Become Unbeatable With The Addition Of Lionel Messi Says Maradona

Diego Maradona believes Bayern Munich would be unbeatable if they were to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Bayern clinched a 24th Bundesliga title on Tuesday with a 3-1 win at Hertha Berlin, which moved them into an unassailable 25-point lead at the summit with seven games to spare.

The Bavarians have now won six trophies in under two seasons, with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola - who replaced Jupp Heynckes in the close season - guiding them to success in the league, Super Cup and Club World Cup already this term.

Guardiola's men are still in contention to retain the Champions League title they won last year and will add Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski to their ranks on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

And Argentina legend Maradona admits Bayern would be untouchable if they were ever to tempt four-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi to swap Camp Nou for the Allianz Arena.

"(Robert) Lewandowski and Messi? Then everyone else would play for second place. In every competition, in every league."
