SIX NATIONS: Rugby Star Martin Castrogiovanni Attacked By Friend's Dog, Requires 14 Stitches

The next time you think of acquiring a dog just bear it in mind that you might get attacked by it or someone close by might. The case of Rugby star Martin Castrogiovanni is quite sympathetic and funny. His friend's dog bite him and now he faces being on the sideline and 14 stitches! The picture above also suggests he has love for dogs. We wish him quick recovery....

Italy prop Martin Castrogiovanni is set to miss Saturday's Six Nations match against Scotland at Murrayfield after being bitten on the nose by a friend's dog, the Ansa news agency reported on Monday.

The Italian rugby federation said Castrogiovanni had suffered a "slight domestic incident" and been left out of the provisional squad, though it did not give any further details.

Ansa said the Argentine-born 33-year-old had been playing with the dog which turned on him and caused a wound requiring 14 stitches.

Castrogiovanni apparently owns three dogs: a Daschund called Nano, a Bernese Mountain Dog called Hector, and a bulldog called Fatty.
