SO GOOD! Jay Jay Okocha Wins Delta State Football Chairman's Sit With 26 Out Of 27 Votes

Its high time for footballers to start taking their place in the administration of football. Jay Jay Okocha proved one of his titles today by winning almost 100% of the votes. You should remember this saying, "Jay Jay so good his mother named him twice". We are so glad he won and we expect a working and leading administrative system from the former Bolton star. Congrats bro......

Former Nigeria captain Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha has successfully transitioned from player to administrator as he won election as chairman of the Delta State Football Association on Friday.
Okocha, 41, polled 26 out of 27 votes to win the seat and replace Amaju Pinnick who vacated the role after becoming president of the Nigeria Football Federation September 2014.

The former PSG, Bolton Wanderers and Hull City player becomes one of the few former footballers to enjoy such huge transition from the field into the boardroom in Nigerian football.

The three-time World Cup player is presently head of the NFF Technical Study Group.
