Yaya Toure was a runaway winner of the 2013 CAF Player of the Year Award, according to a detailed result released by CAF.
The 31-year-old Ivorian powerhouse won his third straight award on Thursday after he polled a total of 373 points.
Mikel Obi was second on 265 points with Drogba third with 236 points.
Only coaches of Nigeria, Sudan, Zambia and Libya voted Mikel as their best player of the past year.
This was against the 20 national team coaches who voted Yaya as their best player.
Two players tied in fourth place – Jonathan Pitriopa of Burkina Faso and Pierre Aubameyang – after they totalled 202 points each.
The other Nigeria stars in the top 10 of nominees were Vincent Enyeama (199 points, sixth), Emmanuel Emenike (191, seventh) and Ahmed Musa (181, ninth).
