Arsenal’s February and March already looked like being make or break for Arsene Wenger’s side. This has now been accentuated by drawing Liverpool at home in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
In truth, you wonder why Arsenal fans are worrying – this is what high level football is about! If Arsenal were not playing big matches at the back end of the season, their fans would be asking what is going wrong!
There now looks to be two spells, both of 11 days where Arsenal will be tested in all three competitions they are left in. From February 8 until February 19, games with Liverpool (twice), Manchester United and Bayern Munich look mouth watering. Check the fixtures after the cut....
Three of these four are at home.
In March it looks more daunting. Bayern Munich away, the second leg, is followed by Chelsea and Tottenham away.
Its tough – but don’t expect this Arsenal side to fall away.
They may need Julian Draxler though!
