Golden Eaglet Captain, Musa Mohammed Set To Sign For Besiktas

Golden Eaglets World Cup-winning skipper Musa Muhammed is close to sealing a deal to top Turkish club Besiktas.

His agent Adam Mohammed told MTNFootball.com that he and the player have arrived Istanbul, Turkey, and are in “advanced negotiations” with Besiktas.

The 17-year-old defender has attracted from several English premier League clubs including Everton and west Ham as well as firm offers from Libya and Tunisia.


“We want the best for the player because we know he has a very bright future,” said Mohammed.

“Besiktas have shown great interest in the player and we have been warmly received here.”

The Eaglet star’s arrival has also been posted on the Turkish club’s official website.

Former Nigeria World Cup star Daniel Amokachi featured for the top Istanbul side and another Nigeria international, Michael Eneramo, is also on the books of the club even though he has gone on a loan to another Turkish club till season’s end.
