Out Of Favour Yobo Gets Sochaux Bid

French club Sochaux are the latest suitors of Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo, according to media reports in Turkey. Maraton.com.tr has reported that a bid of 600,000 Euros has been tabled before Fenerbahce for Yobo's services.

The Nigeria star has been frozen out of the Fenerbahce squad and needs a change of base to have a chance of being part of coach Stephen Keshi's Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup squad.

.
The foreign players’ quota in Turkey which was introduced this season has affected Yobo greatly as he was not considered among the foreigners to feature in the team.

And ever since, he has been linked to a number of clubs.

Wilson Oruma, Brown Ideye, Rabiu Afolabi and Osanga King are among the Nigerians who have featured for the struggling French club, who have appointed former Zambia coach Herve Renard to turn their fortunes around.
