True or False: Wayne Rooney to be handed captaincy and £300,000 a week to sign new contract at Man United

According to a number of reports, Wayne Rooney is now being given full access to Manchester United transfer secrets. In a desperate attempt to tie their star man down to a new contract, The Daily Express claim David Moyes is willing to give Rooney the captaincy.

I think this is exclusively too much for Wayne Rooney considering his age and his rated caliber. If Moyes is doing all this to keep the boy he sold when he was at Everton Then he will have to do the double to have a Ronaldo or Messi.

Tomorrow’s Mirror claim the 28 year old England frontman will be handed a whopping £300,000 a week contract on top of the captaincy.

Under fire manager David Moyes clearly sees Wayne Rooney as the key to his future success.

With only 18 months left on his contract, can David Moyes tempt Rooney into signing a new long term contract at Old Trafford?
