CHELSEA: Essien's time almost over
Michael Essien will have to look for a club in this transfer window after Jose Mourinho's recent shiftiness.
The Chelsea boss says he cannot offer the Ghanaian any assurances over his involvement in the first team.
As a result, Essien has been given the okay to make a move this January. Names that have come up for the Bison include Greek side Olympiakos and French sides Sochaux and Bastia.
Essien's agent has however strongly distanced the player from any move to France, where he spent many successful years.
“I offer nobody guaranteed game time. They have to buy their minutes. I can’t promise.I cant offer nothing,” the Portuguese said after beating Southampton.
