Joseph Yobo close to leaving Fenerbahce
Media reports in Turkey suggest several clubs are in the running for Super Eagles captain,Joseph Yobo.
Turkish outfit Antalyaspor, who have another Nigerian Isaac Promise on their payroll have made their intentions known to the Capital city club,and are considered favorites to sign the Port Hacourt born centre back.
A host of other clubs in the Turkish Super League are also in the running and their are also indications to suggest that English Premier League side Cardiff City are also looking at the 33 year old.
Yobo, who was part of Nigeria's squad to the Japan/Korea World Cup in 2002 has already reiterated his desire to move to get first team football that will get him back into national reckoning as the 2014 World Cup looms.
He has only played 5 official matches for Fenerbahce in all competitions this season, scoring a goal in the process.
Yobo made his international debut in 2001 and has raked in 93 caps for the national team, which has put him in line to be the first 100 cap player of recent memory.
