Super Eagles Defender Oboabona Scores Late Goal To Rescue Rizespor

Godfrey Oboabona was on target for Rizespor as they struggled to a 1-1 draw at home to Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday afternoon.

His late minute strike was all his side needed to share points with the dogged visitors in the tense encounter played at the Yeni Rize Sehir Stadium.

Roberto Carlos' Sivasspor seem to be heading for an away victory courtesy of Hakan Arslan 89th minute strike before the Super Eagles defender drew level for the hosts a minute later.


Oboabona has now played 16 league games this season for the Turkish topflight side with his side occupying the 12th spot on the log with 38 points from 32 games.
