FIFA Presidency: Orji Kalu, Odegbami Can't Get Up To 10 Votes, Platini Will Win - Oma Akatugba

Oma Akatugba has taken some of his time to xray who and who stands a chance to win the sit, the stands of Nigeria's duo of former Governor Orji Ujor Kalu and Segun Odegbami, why CAF president Issa Hayatou didn't deem it fit to run for the office and more.

The FIFA presidential election will be held early next year to crown in a new president. Several people across all continents have come out to show interest in running the affairs of football at its highest office.

Oma has tipped UEFA president Michel Platini to win the election. Platini looks like a serious candidate who looks destined for the sit. He recently sent a letter to all the football associations under FIFA to give him there support for the sit. Being the president of a body that almost stands shoulder to shoulder with FIFA gives him an added advantage.

On Nigerian Contestants

Orji Ujor Kalu and Segun Odegbami can't get up to 10 votes if they run for the election. Zico's refusal to invite them for debate shows that they are not seen has serious rivals. Though Oma applauded Segun Odegbami in one of his tweets and hailed him for having the boldness to contest but concluded that he knows Odegbami can't win.

On Issa Hayatou

Issa hayatou has stayed out of the race despite contesting in the past because he knows he can't win. Oma said Issa is pleased to be the big fish in a small pond. The small pond according to Oma is CAF. LOL

Nigeria

If there is any hope for Nigerian Contestants Segun Odegbami stands a better chance than ex-Governor Orji Ujor Kalu.
