Pedro has brought his career as an 'Azulgrana' to an end after seven years in the first team.
Guardiola gave him his first big chance in 2008-09, when he was promoted to the fringes of the first team. His hard work ethic meant that from the following season on he became an important part of the first-team squad and a regular in the starting eleven.
Over the years, Pedro has been part of the best ever Barcelona side, winning a total of 20 titles with the 'Culés', the latest being the European Super Cup on 11th August, where he scored the goal that won the title.
The forward from Tenerife is moving on after winning the league five times, and the Champions League three times. Very few players in world football have a better medal collection, especially when we consider that he's also won both the World Cup and the European Championship with 'La Roja'.
Pedro has been an amazing player over these seven years, save only last season when he failed to feature regularly. In previous seasons he regularly made it into the team despite competing for a spot with players like Ibrahimovic, Villa, Henry and Alexis Sanchez.
