Some Nigerians have not still learned to serve their father's land. Not everyone will be has lucky as Akeem Olajuwon or what has David Olatokunbo Alaba gained from playing for Austria but one could also argue that Emmanuel Adebayor was right to play for Togo though he has no trophy to show for it.
The John Fashanu issue is a good reason why a Nigerian should not really consider playing for England. I admit that playing for England is tempting with the huge media presence that can make and break you and a wish to play in the Euros is a big dream - even Messi, Neymar, Suarez & co will wish they could. If Ibe gets a call to the three lions one factor will be key, he must always be on top of his game. A lost form will mean that he will be dropped and an average form will imply that a white player with a bit less form than him will be considered before him. Are you thinking of how possible that is? very simple, white is the colour, white skin.
In a nutshell Jordan Ibe turned the great Sunday Oliseh down after Oliseh visited him and his family members in a bid to lure him to play for Eagles. Good news though, Oliseh will concentrate on local based players. Read the news after the cut.....
Nigeria boss Sunday Oliseh has confirmed that Jordon Ibe has made his final decision on which international side he wants to play for.
Born in England to Nigerian parents, Liverpool’s Ibe has the choice to play for either the Three Lions or the Super Eagles.
He’s represented England right through the underage levels, but still has the choice to switch allegiance to Nigeria.
And according to new Nigeria boss Oliseh, Ibe has decided he wants to play for England.
It was quite an unorthodox move from Oliseh – surely an official statement from the Nigerian FA would have been more appropriate – but at least this way the news came from a recognizable name and face.
It doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll walk into the England side, of course: Ibe is not even an established starter at Liverpool yet, and still has a way to go before he gets his first call-up to Roy Hodgson’s side.
Jordon Ibe's Family Informed me by a Telephone call, that He was giving priority to an England call up.We wish them well.

You're delusional if you think that someone in worse form would get in ahead of him just because they're white.
