The Chilean manager picked up his first major European silverware since he left his native land a decade ago as the Blues saw off Sunderland 3-1 at Wembley Stadium.
City were eventually comfortable winners as Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas all scored in the second half to firmly cancel out Fabio Borini's opener for the Black Cats.

England players’ wives and girlfriends(WAGS) have been given the green light by Roy Hodgson to accompany the World Cup squad to Miami this summer.
The Three Lions manager has also opened the door to players’ partners joining the squad in Brazil when the tournament starts.
After a training camp in Portugal, which wives and girlfriends are not permitted to attend, Hodgson’s squad fly to Florida for warm-up matches against Ecuador and Honduras before heading to their tournament base in Rio de Janeiro.
